Alibaug: Hikal Limited, a leading global life sciences partner, has transformed the 130-year-old Zilla Parishad Marathi School in Zirad, Alibaug through a landmark digital infrastructure upgrade.
This initiative, executed in collaboration with Utkarsh Global Foundation, is part of Hikal’s flagship CSR program Srijan, aimed at creating meaningful, long-term impact in communities around its operational areas.

As part of the Hikal CSR initiative, the school now boasts:
- 70 brand-new wooden benches, replacing damaged furniture,
- Eight 43-inch LED Smart TVs to enable digital learning,
- A projector and screen for interactive student skill-building sessions,
- A multifunction printer to support administrative efficiency, and
- A shaded handwash area to promote hygiene and student wellness.
These enhancements aim to build a safe, inclusive, and engaging educational environment, encourage regular student attendance, and bridge the rural-urban learning gap through technology.
